Hospital Director Dr. Iftikhar Ullah visited  Emergency Department of Khalifa Gul Nawaz Hospital, Bannu. Hospital Director MTI Bannu, Colonel (R) Iftikhar Ullah, reviewed process of providing immediate medical assistance in  Emergency Department of Khalifa Gul Nawaz Hospital, Bannu. During an ongoing operation in  Domel area, four civilians—two women and two children—were injured and brought to the hospital’s emergency department. He visited the injured patients and instructed  staff to ensure that all available medical facilities were provided to them. He expressed satisfaction that timely and quality medical care had already been delivered and stated that the hospital is fully prepared at all times to handle any emergency situation. Following this, Hospital Director Dr. Iftikhar ullah visited various hostels and residential areas of the hospital. He met with faculty members and doctors, reviewed the residential facilities, arrangements, and overall standards, and issued instructions to ensure better maintenance and effective management of the hostels. These measures clearly reflects commitment that at MTI Bannu,  safety of patients and staff, prompt medical response, and the provision of quality facilities remain top priorities.

Dean of Bannu Medical College and North Waziristan Forest Division Sign MoU for Mutual Cooperation

The Dean of Bannu Medical College, Professor Dr. Muhammad Nadeem, and the concerned officer of the North Waziristan Forest Division formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under mutual cooperation. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Bannu Medical College, Bannu, and the Forest Division, Bannu, to promote tree plantation, environmental protection, and educational and research collaboration. The objective of this MoU is to promote a green environment through the establishment, development, and effective management of nurseries on land provided by Bannu Medical College. Under the agreement, the North Waziristan Forest Division will be responsible for all matters related to the establishment of nurseries, preparation of saplings, their care, and development, while Bannu Medical College will provide suitable land and access facilities for the nurseries. The maximum number of saplings produced from the nurseries will be utilized for tree plantation and beautification within the medical college and its surrounding areas. On this occasion, it was also agreed that the nursery activities would support educational, research, and awareness initiatives, and that even after the completion of the agreement period, the developed infrastructure could continue to be used for environmental activities. Security of the nurseries and related areas will be ensured in accordance with the approved SOPs of Bannu Medical College. According to the administration, this initiative is not only a positive step toward environmental improvement but will also play an important role in promoting a healthy and green educational environment for future generations.
